Is this pass worth it for you?

Yes, if …

You're in Venice for 2–4 days, want the Doge's Palace + St. Mark's + islands + gondola in one bundle — without juggling tickets.

No, if …

You're in town for just 1 day or only after 2–3 specific sights. The Flex Pass or a single ticket makes more sense then.

What's NOT included?

Honestly — these things are not part of the pass:

  • Public vaporetto tickets (€25–65 add-on depending on pass duration)
  • Marco Polo airport transfer (add-on +€35)
  • St. Mark's terrace & Pala d'Oro (separate tickets on site)
  • Campanile bell tower (separate booking)
  • Venice day-visitor fee (€5, on peak days)
  • Audio guides at most of the smaller museums

Who is this pass for?

1

Families with children

Tiered child & youth prices (children 2–12 pay roughly €60–70) and a single voucher for every attraction — no ticket chaos at each entrance.

2

First-timers with 2–4 days

If you want the full Venice playlist in a few days, the City Pass gives you all the highlights in one pass — Doge's Palace, St. Mark's, islands, gondola.

3

All-in sightseers who don't want to choose

If you don't want to click through 20 options, the pre-packed City Pass is easier than the Flex Pass.

Honestly — where this pass falls short

We don't hide anything. Things you should know before buying:

  • No vaporetto ticket included — you'll also need a transport ticket for the lagoon (or the optional add-on).
  • If you only manage 3–4 attractions in 2 days, the Flex Pass is usually cheaper than the City Pass.
  • Early cancellation incurs a flat €30 fee per pass — fair, but worth knowing.
  • Not all included museums are "highlights" — some are small, very specialised stops.

Frequently asked questions

How long is the City Pass valid?
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 consecutive days from first use. The days have to run back to back — you can't "pause" the pass.
Do I need a time slot for every attraction?
No — only the Doge's Palace, St. Mark's Basilica and the Campanile require reserved slots. For the smaller museums, the Murano/Burano boat tour and the gondola ride, just showing the voucher on site is enough. Details are in your Turbopass app.
Is the vaporetto included?
No. You can add a vaporetto ticket at checkout (+€25–65 depending on pass duration) or grab a separate vaporetto pass — many travellers combine both.
What happens if I don't use the pass one day?
The pass keeps running — the days are consecutive from first use. If you need buffer time, the Flex Pass (valid 30 days) is the better fit.
Are there child and youth discounts?
Yes. Three age groups: adults, youth (13–17) and children (2–12). The table above shows all prices — children under 2 normally travel free.
Can I cancel the pass?
As long as no tickets or reservations have been issued, cancellation is possible — Turbopass keeps a flat €30 fee per pass. Less than 24 hours before the start date: no refund.
Is the skip-the-line at the Doge's Palace guaranteed?
Yes, the Doge's Palace ticket is a skip-the-line ticket. In high season the skip-the-line entrances can still queue — the calmest slots are mornings before 10 am or afternoons from 4 pm.

Cancellation

Cancellation possible as long as the pass is unused and no tickets/reservations have been issued. Turbopass terms include a flat cancellation fee per pass. Less than 24 hours before the start date: no refund.
