Is this pass worth it for you?

Yes, if …

You know exactly which 3–5 attractions you want to see — and no more. Or you're staying longer and need time to redeem the pass.

No, if …

You want to see "everything" and stack as many highlights as you can — then the City Pass is the rounder bundle.

What's NOT included?

Honestly — these things are not part of the pass:

  • More than 7 attractions — the count is fixed at purchase
  • St. Mark's terrace and Pala d'Oro (on site)
  • Campanile bell tower as a "free" extra — separate
  • Venice day-visitor fee (€5, on peak days)
  • City audio guide — sold separately

Who is this pass for?

1

Repeat visitors

You already know Venice and just want to catch up on the highlights you missed last time. That's exactly what the Flex Pass is for.

2

Longer stays (1–4 weeks)

30 days of validity from activation — perfect if you don't want a tight sightseeing plan and you like rest days.

3

Selective sightseers

2–7 attractions instead of 15 — if you like "less is more", this is cheaper and more relaxed.

Honestly — where this pass falls short

We don't hide anything. Things you should know before buying:

  • The attraction count is fixed at checkout — you can't top it up later (you'd have to buy a second pass).
  • With only 2 attractions, the saving over single tickets is often small.
  • Cancellation rules are more complex than for the City Pass — tiered by reservation status.
  • You don't have to commit at checkout — but you do on site, and that overwhelms some travellers.

How to book and redeem the pass

  1. 1

    Pick a count & book

At checkout you set the number of attractions (2–7) — the specific picks come later.

  2. 2

    Activate the pass

Start the pass in the Turbopass app — that's when the 30-day window begins.

  3. 3

    Choose your attractions

In the app, pick your specific attractions from 20+ options. For the Doge's Palace, St. Mark's and the Campanile, reserve a time slot.

  4. 4

Show the voucher at the entrance

Have the QR code on your phone scanned — done.

Frequently asked questions

How does the attraction selection work?
At checkout you only set the count (2 to 7). You pick the specific attractions later in the Turbopass app from 20+ options.
How long do I have to redeem the pass?
30 days from first activation. Unused attractions expire after that.
Can I add attractions later?
No — the count is fixed at purchase. If you want more, you'd have to buy a second pass. Tip: when unsure, size up one tier.
What if I don't use all the attractions?
Before activation: pro-rata refund possible. After activation: unused attractions are not refundable.
Is the vaporetto included?
The public vaporetto ticket is one of the selectable attractions — so you can swap it in for one of the other slots.
Does the Flex Pass beat single tickets?
From around 3 attractions the Flex Pass usually wins clearly. With just 2 attractions the advantage is small — single tickets are often the more honest choice then.
What if I don't end up visiting Venice?
As long as you haven't activated the pass yet, you can cancel for free. Once you activate it, the 30-day window starts — even if you're no longer in Venice.

Cancellation

As long as you haven't picked/reserved any attraction yet: free cancellation, full refund. With a partially reserved pass: pro-rata refund. Fully reserved: no refund. Less than 24 hours before the start date: no longer refundable.
