Where this pass falls short

Points from the reviews and the provider terms to check before you buy:

The attraction count is fixed at checkout. You can't top it up later (you'd have to buy a second pass).
With only 2 attractions, the saving over single tickets is often small.
Cancellation rules are more complex than for the City Pass, tiered by reservation status.
You don't have to commit at checkout, but you do on site, and that overwhelms some travellers.

No, the count is fixed at purchase. If you want more, you'd have to buy a second pass. Tip: when unsure, size up one tier.

What if I don't use all the attractions?

What counts is what you have already selected or reserved, not what you visit. If only some attractions are reserved, you get a proportional refund (purchase price minus the retail value of the reserved attractions and any non-refundable reservations). Once all attractions are reserved, there is no refund, not even for the ones you skip.

Is the vaporetto included?

The public vaporetto ticket is one of the selectable attractions, so you can swap it in for one of the other slots.

Does the Flex Pass beat single tickets?

From around 3 attractions the Flex Pass usually wins clearly. With just 2 attractions the advantage is small, and single tickets are often the better choice then.

What if I don't end up visiting Venice?

If you haven't selected or reserved any attraction yet, you can cancel free of charge for a full refund, as long as it's more than 24 hours before your chosen start date. With reservations already made, you get a proportional refund or none at all. Within 24 hours of the start date nothing is refunded.

Once one or more attractions are selected or reserved, the refund is proportional: the purchase price minus the retail value of the attractions already selected or reserved and any non-refundable reservations. If all included attractions are selected or reserved, the pass is non-refundable. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your chosen start date are not refunded.
